  • Critical Hiring Criteria (credentials, experiences, qualifications, other)  Technical background, vocational school or similar degree or certification preferred. Documented education, training or developed competencies in the areas of industrial maintenance including electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical controls and systems. Programmable Logic Controls (PLC’s) and FANUC Control systems experience helpful. Experience in the operation of small equipment, tractors, and scissor lifts preferred. Snowplow experience a plus. Exposure to or experience/knowledge of eMaintenance programs or similar type of computerized work management systems (CMMS) helpful.

Job Description

The experienced Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of equipment and facility systems.  Specifically, this position will use technical skills, experience, knowledge, troubleshooting, repairing and updating the assets of the company processes, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, piping and support systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

 

Additional areas of responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance activities on equipment and buildings (campus) infrastructure.  The experienced Maintenance Technician must exhibit a consistent high level of detail and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
