Job Description

The position of Shot Peen Technician will apply their skills and knowledge in the disciplines of shot peen processes, (or similar types of processes),operations, and application on turbine engine components. At CRT, shot peen is used as a metal cold working process that creates a compressive residual stress layer at the component surface designed to increase fatigue life. This is accomplished via computer aided programing equipment.

As a Shot Peen Technician, you will work alongside experienced team members and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in your career. You will become familiar with various types of equipment and techniques. As your skills increase, so will your responsibilities, giving you hands-on experience, growth, and additional responsibilities.

The position performs its primary functions in a climate-controlled and modern state-of-the-art facility. Through our extensive in-house training program, the successful applicant will be instructed via a series of computer based and hands-on training, the necessary skills of the position.
