Job Description

The Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance and Engineering ( TFOME ) team at the NASA Glenn Research Center providesengineering and technical services in the areas of aeropropulsion and space propulsion and power test facilities. TFOME management is dedicated to excellence in service and to providing outstanding technical opportunities for our employees. We specialize in providing unique products and services to NASA Glenn. We are currently seeking a Journeyman Level Electronics Technician to apply technical knowledge to perform routine and non routine electronics tasks following detailed work instructions. Performs such tasks as replacing instrument and control components, building & wiring ac/dc circuits, repairing electronic equipment; troubleshooting and installing PLC systems, pressure transducers, and motor controllers; taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.
