HX5 is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Thermal Analyst to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio in support of the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The selected candidate will support the development of fuel-to-electric conversion for aeropropulsion powertrains and their supporting technologies. Primary objectives are for development of a controller for a micro-turbojet engine and its testing, following NASA’s established procedures and regulations, to ensure functionality, safety, and repeatability.
