  • Use and maintain precision measuring tools, including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Height gauges
  • Dial indicators
  • Optical comparator
  • Surface plate setups and fixed gauges
  • Document inspection results and maintain inspection records
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming material
  • Accept, reject, or route parts for rework based on inspection results
  • Perform first article, in‑process, and final inspections
  • Support incoming inspection of raw materials and outside services
  • Communicate quality concerns directly with machinists, supervisors, and quality leadership
  • Support ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 quality system requirements

Required Qualifications (Manufacturing‑Specific)

  • Manufacturing or machine shop inspection experience required
  • Experience inspecting CNC‑machined parts
  • Ability to read and understand machining blueprints and GD&T
  • Proficient with precision measuring instruments
  • Comfortable working in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Applicants without manufacturing or machining‑related inspection experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or CNC Inspector
  • Experience in precision machining, Swiss machining, or CNC milling/turning
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
  • Experience with medical, aerospace, or high‑precision manufacturing
