Job Description
Dearborn Inc., a leader in precision machining for Aerospace, Nuclear, Military, and Commercial industries, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Mechanical Inspector to work in an ISO 9001/ AS9100 environment.
Candidates should possess a strong background in mechanical inspection with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a machining setting, have skills with basic shop math, possess good verbal and written skills, along with computer skills using Microsoft Office products, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong paperwork skills are essential to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
Gage Calibration, CMM, or CAD experience is a plus but not required.
Other duties will include, but not limited to:
- Quality Planning
- First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspection
- Issuance of Deviation Reports
- Supplier and Customer communications.
