Job Description

Description Alloy Engineering, located in Berea, OH, is seeking a Burn Table Operator to join our production team on the 2nd shift . This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating CNC plasma, laser, or oxy-fuel cutting tables who take pride in precision, quality, and safety. They will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC and/or manual burn tables to cut metal plate or sheet to precise specifications. This role requires knowledge of material types, thicknesses, cutting processes, and reading blueprints. Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Set Up & Operation – Load raw material (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloy, etc.) onto the burn table using overhead cranes or forklifts. – Set up and operate CNC plasma, oxy-fuel, or laser burn tables according to work orders, blueprints, and CAD/CAM programs. – Select appropriate cutting tips, consumables, speeds, feeds, and gases for material type and thickness. – Verify cutting programs for a…
