HX5 is currently seeking an Aeroacoustic Engineer to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio in support of the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will evaluate the noise, performance, and commercial value of concept air vehicles to inform NASA, its industry partners, and regulatory bodies on the viability and possibilities of a future high-speed aircraft market. A detailed understanding of community noise restrictions and regulations are of particular interest as the high-thrust low-drag requirements for supersonic cruise present unique challenges for airport noise.
